How can I make a purchase online?
To purchase items online, simply add the items to your shopping basket and proceed to checkout. You can make a payment with your Credit/Debit card or Paypal.

How does ‘my account’ work?
You do not need an account to purchase items online but registering does allow you to make the most of all our services, including: storing personal information for ease of future orders, accessing a summary of all Lorfords orders, maintaining wishlists and reserving items online. You will also be notified first about our latest products.
You can amend your personal details by logging into the ‘My Account’ section of the website.
Can I reserve an item?
You can reserve any of our antique items for a maximum of 7 days via your Lorfords Account. After 5 days you will receive an e-mail that will remind you that you have an item on reserve, and after 7 days the item will automatically be removed from your reservation area and available for other customers to purchase.
If you are interested in an item that is already reserved, please select ‘notify me when available’ and you will receive an automatic e-mail update if the item is taken off reserve.
What is a wishlist?
Wishlists are personalised lists of the items you love, which you can create and store in your account.
As part of this service you have the ability to create multiple wishlists – which can then be shared with clients/friends via e-mail or social media. You can add or remove items from your wishlists whenever you are logged in.
How long can I store pieces at Lorfords?
We are able to store items for clients for a maximum of 8 weeks. If a client requires storage for longer than this, a fixed fee will be charged.
How do I pay for my items?
Online: We use the online payment gateway SagePay, who adhere to the most stringent levels of security, ensuring your details remain secure throughout the transaction process. We also accept payment via PayPal.
Showrooms: We accept payment via card (all major card providers), cheque or bank transfer. Payment terms are strictly 7 days.
All credit card payments will incur a 2.5% handling fee.
All prices are exclusive of delivery costs.
Goods remain the property of Lorfords until full payment has been received.
Is VAT applied to my order?
All antique goods are sold on VAT Margin Scheme, unless otherwise stated.
‘Created’ pieces attract VAT at the standard rate (20%). Customers outside of the EU will see VAT deducted after a delivery address has been confirmed.
