17th Century Italian Four Door Cupboard

A very rustic 17th Century Italian cupboard but with an ornate wooden crest. 

With two sets of doors (four doors in total) and hand forged loop hinges, open onto fixed shelving. The top doors are with woven wire and close with an external hook. The bottom doors have one internal hook and lock. 

The front plinth, although old, is a later replacement, and new supporting battens have been fitted beneath. 

The worn rear of the cupboard is evidence of the age of this piece. Height without the crest is 187 cm.
