18th Century English Ash Comb Back Windsor Chair

An 18th Century English ash comb back Windsor stick chair. 


This chair retains traces of very old, original paint which gives it a lovely variation in colour and a great patination. It has a hooped armrest and bent arm supports. 


Made in solid ash, having a dish shaped seat and the simple legs are united by a traditional H-stretcher. Fabulous colour, good size and elegant proportions.
