18th Century English Mahogany Serving Table
An 18th Century English Mahogany serving table with faux marble scagliola top.
This elegant table was made in the late 18th Century Neo-Classical period and is highly influenced by the designs produced by the likes of Robert Adam and James Wyatt.
Of unusually slim and elegant proportions, this fine table has a fluted frieze with applied carved paterae. The six tapering square sectioned legs are also fluted and they terminate in spade toes with collars. The table has a scagliola or faux marble top, a very stylish table.
