Wonderful 18th Century cupboard from a Tuscan convent.
This fascinating fruitwood cupboard has low proportions with two central doors flanked by panelled sections. The doors each bear a hand-carved crucifix and the letters G.P.
Inside are two spacious shelves and the whole rests on a plinth base with a decoratively carved apron.
Part of the top is hinged and opens up to a shallow compartment below. The doors retain their original lock and key.
This is a great characterful option for storage in today's home, with its low stature ideal for also displaying things on top.
