18th Century leather bound Spanish trunk with a domed lid.
This fantastic trunk features its original studded decoration and gilt metal that have been worked to create the patterns.
It is supported on fabulous 18th Century fish feet, that retain their original gilding. They are likely to be a later addition, but have certainly been part of the trunk for a long time.
This chest is bursting with history and character. It would make a fantastic feature piece in any interior, and is ideal to place at the foot of a bed for storing textiles.
