18th Century Wrought Iron Candle Holders

A pair of fantastic 18th Century wrought iron rush light or candle holders.

With a sprung opening to securely hold a candle. Shaped drip trays stand on scrolled feet; a finely turned central baluster with sprouting scrolls integral to the design and function. 

These seem to come from middle Europe, particularly alpine regions. Likely dating between 1700-1750.
