Late 19th Century Blue Velvet Armchair

Superb late 19th Century armchair.

This armchair has a wonderful luxurious shape, with an elegant high back that joins the armrests and seat. 

It was clearly designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind and offers a stylish form with a very deep seat. 

The whole is upholstered in a blue velvet fabric. 

This is a lovely example of English design. It is very much of its era, but it will work equally well in a contemporary setting.
