This particular example has a creative design characteristic of earlier French Savonnerie carpets of the 18th Century.
19th Century Aubusson carpets were made in France during the 15th Century and are among the most elegant European antique floor coverings. They were initially commissioned for royalty and aristocracy.
A sophisticated example to complement a variety of settings.
