SKU
DA4317703
Unusual Tibetan Buddha figure dating to the late 19th Century.
This striking figure represents a sitting Buddha. It has been wonderfully carved and parcel gilded to represent the popular styles that are typically used within Eastern art.
The figure represents the Tibetan Siddha, Milarepa. Milarepa is famously known for being a criminal in his younger life. Milarepa turned to Buddhism after committing a murder and is now considered one of Tibet's most worshipped yogis and spiritual poets.
It shall make for a striking addition to both indoor and outdoor settings.
