19th Century English Oak Side Cabinet
19th Century English Oak side cabinet or credenza.
This fine piece has a glazed central section ideal for use as a display cabinet, and two wooden doors concealing cupboards with adjustable shelves and having a breakfront form. The oak veneers have mellowed to a lovely honey colour with lovely patination. The piece has a lip at the back edge. The cabinet has turned pilasters with leaf carved detail to the columns and bases and stands on a plinth base and is shallow in depth.
A very attractive side cabinet of mellow colour and good proportions.
