19th Century English papier mâché faux bois wood tub with faded painted once gold bands.

It has a pair of wrought-iron drop handles on each side and an impressed manufacturer's mark on the bottom. In an as-found antique condition with faded colours and chips, bumps and dents on and to its surface.
