19th Century Walnut and Ebonised Pedestal Desk

Wonderful 19th Century English pedestal desk. 

This desk is of fine quality, in walnut and ebony and retaining its original emerald green and gilt tooled leather writing surface. 

Featuring graduated drawers and resting on a substantial plinth base. 

Both the inner sides to the kneehole, as well as the sides of the desk are panelled, indicating the fine quality of this piece. 

The ebonised bandings complement the fine colour of the pale walnut timber. 

An exceptional piece that would elevate any home office or library environment.
