19th Century French 'E' Monogram Linen Cushion with Fagotting Frill

19th Century French linen cushion customised with a turn of the 20th Century 'E' white monogram. 

The monograms 'Plumetis-Express' were sold in haberdashery shops in boxes in various sizes to be hand stitched onto the household linens.

Backed in a 19th Century French soft red ticking stripe and slipstitched closed. With a duck feather cushion pad. Frill is 5cm deep.
