19th Century French Giltwood Cushion Mirror

Stunning French 19th Century giltwood faux bois framed cushion mirror with center frame. 

With heavy gilt carvings of flowers and leaves, culminating in decorative crest to the top and smaller repeated crest to the base. Typical of Provencal work, the giltwood frame is simple in form with a continuous faux bois.

Original bevelled glass with outer glass margin plates angled to beautifully catch the light.
