19th Century French Green 'B' Monogram Customised Linen Cushion with Frilled Edging

19th Century French linen cushion customised with a turn of the 20th century green 'B' monogram. 

The monograms 'Plumetis-Express' were sold in haberdashery shops in boxes in various sizes to be hand stitched onto the household linens.

Backed in a late 19th Century French cotton ticking and slipstitched closed. With a duck feather cushion pad, frill is 6.5cm deep.
