Mid 19th Century French mahogany gueridon.
This is a fantastic piece, with a dished and bordered grey marble top. The mahogany has a wonderful rich patina.
Beautiful carved details throughout, including an unusual spiral twist central support column which leads to a moulded base.
Supported on three legs, with scroll and foliate caarving, terminating in deeply carved paw feet and castors.
Wonderful example of the finest French furniture.
