19th Century French 'L' Monogram Customised Linen Cushion

19th Century French linen cushion customised with a turn of the 20th Century 'L' white monogram. 

The monograms 'Plumetis-Express' were sold in haberdashery shops in boxes in various sizes to be hand stitched onto the household linens. 

Backed in a 19th Century French indigo checked linen and slipstitched closed with a duck feather cushion pad.
