19th Century French Mahogany Guéridon with Marble Top
Attractive 19th Century French Mahogany Gueridon With Fine Marble Top and Metal Mounts.
This gueridon, in the Louis XVI taste, is made of particularly finely figured mahogany with attractive flaming to the veneers. It stands on four square sectioned tapering legs which are fluted and terminate in toe mounts with integral castors. The top of each leg is ormolu mounted and the top is also circled with an attractive gilt metal banding.
There is a single drawer in the centre and reverse of the frieze and retractable slides to the other two sides. Retaining its original white marble top with grey veining.
A very nice table of fine quality.
