Exceptional quality 19th Century French oak breakfront bookcase.
Having a large moulded cornice with a central panel below, decorated with carved acanthus leaves. With four glazed doors flanked by carved columns with decorative tops.
The interior shelving is adjustable.
The lower half of the cabinet has a row of four small drawers, two fielded cupboard doors flanked by carved columns and a set of four drawers either side, having inset wooden pull handles.
Set on a plinth base.
A very handsome cabinet with lovely geometrical raised panels.
