19th Century French Oak Table
An Unusual 19th Century French Oak Table, Possibly for an Architect. This large oak table has a planked top of good faded colour and conventional end supports. The construction is rather unusual however, the top being held in place via a series of holes on the reverse. This means that the top can be quickly and easily removed from the base and reversed. A series of pen and pencil lines on the reverse of the top suggest that it has been used in the past as a working table, possibly by an artist or architect. A contemporary looking table suitable for a wide variety of interiors eg a dining table or desk.
