19th Century Painted West Country Windsor Armchair
SKU
CH0915579
Delightful mid 19th Century West Country Windsor armchair. Circa 1860.
This is a charming example of a truly classic design. Featuring a hoop back with thin vertical spindles which also extend around the arms.
The armrests are supported on turned uprights and the seat rests on gently splayed ring-turned legs.
This chair has been dry scraped back to its original green paint which has an attractive distressed look.
It is beautifully weathered and worn, with an old repair to the hoop and the central stretcher.
A timeless chair that will bring great provincial character to any interior.
