Stunning pair of Portugese commodes, dating to the late 18th Century.
These decorative commodes are in the style of Dom Jose. Their elegant serpentine facades each offer two short drawers over two long ones, all with their original ornate brass handles.
The drawers are flanked by moulded corners and sit above beautiful aprons with pierced acanthus and scroll details and gilt highlights.
Each is raised on cabriole legs with gilded acanthus clasps and ball-and-claw feet.
This stunning pair will be a magical addition to any interior.
