Wonderful pair of 19th Century oak low bookcases.

The moulded edge tops with rounded projecting corners and centre sit above carved columns with diamond patterns and Corinthian capitals, flanking open front with adjustable shelves.

The whole is raised on moulded plinth bases with octagonal projected corners and centre.

The sides with panelled architraving.

Fantastic proportions and form with good colour.

Provenance: previously belonging to Reverend D. Melville, Worcester.
