19th Century papier mach’e jewellery cabinet in the manner of Jennings & Bettridge London.
The cabinet is decorated in mother of pearl and gilding with three reverse glass painted scenes. The two arched doors open on the front to reveal a laquered bank of drawers to house jewellery etc. The bottom drawers opens into a writing slope.

The top section opens to reveal a fitted compartments with a period mirror on the hinged lid.
Condition : overall very good two of the glass panels have historical cracks but this does not detract from the beauty of the cabinet, also slight ware to gilding.
