19th Century Winsor & Newton easel and artist's box.

This wonderful easel is in perfect working condition, with remains of colorful old paint still on it.

The artist's box is untouched, with tools and tubes of paint inside.

Winsor & Newton, still in operation today, are one of the biggest names in art supplies.

They were established in 1832, on 38 Rathbone Place by scientist William Winsor and artist Henry Newton.

They changed the history of outdoor painting when they developed the world's first moist watercolours. This would be the first of many patented innovations by the company.

Queen Victoria granted Winsor & Newton the Royal warrant during her reign.
