Woven in fine lustrous wool, this highly decorative Qum rug has design characteristics of 19th-Century Arts and Crafts rugs, rather than traditional designs.
This is a rare feature in this type of weaving. The array of harmonious colours is all-natural vegetable-dyed colours that have aged nicely.
Rug weaving in the city of Qum only started at the beginning of the 20th Century and the city quickly established itself as a centre for exceptions find weavings. Qum is known for unique decorative carpets with classically precise drawings and luxurious wool, often merino which sets it apart from other Persian weaving centres.
This fine Qum is in excellent condition, still retaining its original outer borders and fringes on both sides. A unique example of its type which will blend well in a tasteful setting.

Returned stock must be delivered to our warehouse within 14 days, in the same condition it left us. The cost to return will be equal to the original delivery cost and will be deducted from your refund. We do not refund the original delivery cost.
