Wonderful Ric and Rac dog-shaped salt and pepper cellars with removable Baccarat crystal bowls.

In their original case and accompanied by two spoons. Each piece is numbered and stamped with Gallia for Christofle hallmarks. Circa 1930.

Ric and Rac were foxes and scottish terriers created by the illustrator Pol Rab for the humoristic newspaper "Ric et Rac" published between 1929 and 1944. Ric was the dog that was the inspiration for the famous Tintin's dog, Milou.
