20th Century Art Deco Plain Silver Plated Serving Tray By Walker & Hall

A 20th Century English Art Deco silver plated serving tray.

With cut out handles and scalloped rim. Splendidly restrained in design, this large scale tray has makers mark to the base for Walker & Hall, Circa 1915. 

 Walker & Hall was one of the excellent English silversmiths of the 19th Century, established in Sheffield in 1845. They enjoyed an enviable reputation in the hey-day of English silversmithing but eventually, in 1963, they were incorporated into Mappin & Webb continuing today as the brand Mappin & Webb.
