20th Century Austrian round bentwood cafe table by Fischel.
An Art Deco style occasional table with four splayed legs, joined with a central turned decorative support.
A rare piece with the original Fischel label to the underside.
David Fischel founded DG Fischel & Son in Neimes, Czechoslovakia making bentwood furniture when the original patent registered by Michael Thonet expired in 1871. By 1913 the company had expanded to work in Vienna too.
