20th Century Barrel Ice Bucket With Original Thermal Glass Liner
SKU
DA5838791
A fun 1970s French ‘Barrel’ ice bucket with a thermal mercury glass liner to keep the ice cool.
Large in scale, this ice bucket was made by, and bears the stamp to the base form, Luxium, France, who made excellent and quirky barware during the mid-20th Century.
Showing a nice patina to the plastic barrel outside, with a little gold paint flaking to the knob handle, the original thermal glass liner is in perfect condition and will keep the ice chilled for longer.
This is an unusual piece of Mid-Century Modern barware.
