20th Century Caricature Painting

Amusing painted caricature on paper of a group of eleven singing gentlemen to the rear of a large dish of bouillabaisse. 

Inscribed to the top right, Le Choeur des Gourmets "ILS N EN ONT PAS EN ANGLETEREE" (Pierre Dupont) [Translation: The Choir of Gourmets “THEY DON’T HAVE ANY IN ENGLAND” (Pierre Dupont). To the lower left, is inscribed the dedication A Nivilles. En Souvenir de son excellente bouillabaise. 1935 {Translation: In Memory of His Excellent Bouillabaise]. 

Signed by the artist and dated 1935. In original frame, behind glass In good antique condition; with some water marks and wear commensurate with age.
