This factory clock was the "Master" clock (the French term is "Mother" clock) that communicated to the "Slave" clocks around the factory.
With a hinged and screwed glass front. Blue painted metal frame. The number 7 is a little worn. The Brillié company, founded in 1897, developed the electric clock into a commercial product; providing clocks to the Paris Observatory and the French National time service.
