This circular set of 4 tiered steps features an elegant ring turned faux bamboo handrail surmounted with a round brass knob. 

Four shaped steps witsteps with a tooled red leather insert, supported by turned columns. 

This decorative and useful library ladder dates to the mid 20th Century.
