20th Century French Four-Fold Screen

A lovely single-sided screen/room divider, with fabric covering.
The four panels depict a colourful Medieval scene of mounted horsemen, being lead through a hilly and wooded architectural setting.
It has a plain, fabric-covered back and a fabric trim running around the edges of each panel. There are signs of watermarks on the lower part of the reverse.
Originates from a private house in Normandy.
It can be used as a free-standing screen or adapted with extra fixings for use on a wall, in the style of a tapestry.
