20th Century Italian Fortuny Carnavalet Cushion

Rare 20th Century Fortuny Carnavalet design cushion. 

In a divine blue grey colour with subtle silver overlay. Made from a large full loom width panel and edged all sides with French antique cotton fringe in apricot. On antique linen, lined and zipped at bottom edge. With a down feather pad.

The Carnavalet pattern was Mariano Fortuny’s first decorative design commission.
