Pair of 20th Century upholstered wooden armchairs by John Makepeace, OBE. 

With shaped backs and seats, out swept arms, exposed dovetail joints both stamped "John Makepeace, C.N. Keep". John Makepeace is internationally regarded as one of Britain’s most influential designer/furniture makers working mostly for private clients but also for the wider retail market including Habitat, Heals & Liberty’s.
