A collection of nine original limited edition 1920s stencilled designs for dresses, theatrical costumes etc. Created by French artist Sonia Delaunay (1885-1979) from Tableaux Vivants.


The designs are titled: Robe Zig-Zag 1923, Projet pour le Petit Parigot 1926, Manteau pour le Boeuf sur le toit 1922, Dame en bleu 1924, Danseuse 1923, Projet de pyjama pour un bal porté par R. Delaunay 1923, Robe Mots-Croisés 1923, Costume pour Carnaval de Rio 1928, La danseuse jaune pour l’entracte du Coeur à gaz 1923.


All numbered 269 from an edition of 500 Stencilling by Daniel Jacomet, Paris. Published by by Edizioni del Naviglio on Aussedat vellum, Milan 1969, on the occasion of a retrospective exhibition of Delaunay’s work.
