17th Century Venetian Painted and Giltwood Mirror

Late 17th Century Venetian painted and giltwood mirror in a stunning cinnabar colour.
The various ripple and zigzag carving broken with carved giltwood mouldings surrounding a mercury plate with the shallowest of a hand-bevelled edge, all in fantastic condition.
The rear of the mirror is wonderfully dry and untouched showing riving marks and hand-cut nails.
