18th Century French Regency Marginal Mirror

Beautiful 18th Century carved wood French Regency mirror. 

This mirror dates to the first half of the 18th Century and has its original deeply foxed mercury glass marginal slips. The wonderfully worn gilded frame has deeply carved acanthus and flowerhead corners topped with wonderful flowing C-scrolls and further flower-heads.

A superb and wonderfully carved early Regency mirror.
