19th Century Camphor Wood Officer's Military Trunk

19th Century fine quality and beautifully figured and brass bound officer's trunk.

Bound throughout with brass edgings for protection. These fine trunks were made in the colonies for officers to store their uniforms in and were carried around from posting to posting.

This one is of compact proportions and had acquired a delightful depth of colour.

Ideal for use as a coffee table in front of a sofa, or as a trunk at the end of a bed.
