20th Century Italian Column

Highly decorative 20th Century painted and gilded display pedestal column.

With a circular stand at the top, above a profusely carved column and standing on a triform base with figural heads and scrolled feet. Painted throughout in black and red with abundant gilded features.

A superb example in good condition with lovely signs of natural ageing and wear.
