20th Century French Carved Romantic Over Bed Panel

A beautiful 20th Century French arched, hand-carved, walnut overbed in the Baroque style featuring two sleeping winged cherubs on clouds holding aloft a bow and arrow with a basket of flowers.

This carved allegory of love originates from a Chateau near Nice and was comissioned by the owners in the mid 20th Century.

A beautifully carved piece, it would look great over a bed, door or enjoyed as a piece of wall art.
