20th Century Japanese Panel

Fine Japanese painted panel depicting two Samurai Warriors fighting on the back of a horse. 

Depicted against a fine gold ground, this painting is made up of two joined leaves and features two Samurai warriors fighting on the back of a single horse, one having lost his helmet in the hat of the battle, the helmet lying on the ground lower right.

The panel is signed to the lower right with a square seal mark.
