American Folk Style Painted Box

Wonderful large 19th Century painted box in the American folk style.  

The front and sides feature wonderful simple painted decoration in blue, deep red and white.

This chest has a hinged lid and a deep spacious interior. The whole is supported on bracket feet.

This box would make for useful and aesthetic storage at the foot of a bed or in a hallway.
