19th Century English Mahogany Sarcophagus Cellarette
SKU
DA8029521
A fine George III period figured mahogany sarcophagus shaped cellarette.
The flat rectangular lid with raised centre surface opens to reveal a compartment for wine which retains the original dividers for bottles or decanters.
The tapered body is fitted with brass carrying handles and stands on carved paw feet with original castors. A superb talking point to fill with champagne or fine Claret for a dinner party.
