Arabian Antique Necklace with 'Tuareg' Silver Pendant

A large silver pendant with fine etched engraving from the 'Tuareg' tribe, the semi nomadic people of the Sahara.
The pendant is backed with leather and hangs on a long chain made of silver beads and tiny cast brass beads.
Together they make a handsome and decorative piece.
Circa 1900.
N.B. Dimensions are for the pendant only - the chain is 80cm long.
