Pair of 19th Century romantic framed oval oil on canvas paintings, each set in the garden of a chateau or manor house.

One painting depicts a group of noble ladies and gentlemen strolling on a flight of steps in the gardens of a chateau.

A couple in all their finery look on as a little spaniel and whippet meet on the steps.

The second painting depicts the private lake of a chateau with a couples boating, a musician, and swans. They are in giltwood and stucco frames.

Signed, Fault 1855 In excellent condition with signs of expected wear to frames.
