Small Georgian mahogany Hepplewhite settee.
Dating from the Late 18th Century, Circa 1780, this superb mahogany triple-shield back settee is of small proportions in the style of George Hepplewhite.
The carved shield backs with corn sprouting from twin handled vases, having moulded armrests with down swept front supports. The caned seats with carved decoration to the centre of the front rail supported on square tapered, reeded legs joined by stretchers, front to back.
Perfect for placing beneath a window sill or at the end of a bed.
