Early 20th Century Anatolian Carpet
Interesting 20th Century Anatolian carpet dating to the beginning of the early 20th Century with an unusual drawing and unusual array of natural, undyed colours of ivory, caramel and muted chocolate brown.
Anatolian carpets have a rich history of rug weaving which began in the 13th Century and were amongst the first wave of oriental carpets exported to Europe.
Today these decorative carpets are highly appreciated for their soft colours and lustrous wool.
In excellent condition, still retaining its original fringes on both sides. A stylish rug with earthy colours to compliment contemporary or classic spaces.
